"Academic Promotions: New Changes in the Promotions Guidelines and Requirements"
"The WFSOM sponsored Promotions workshop was a great success with over
30 faculty in attendance representing 5 departments and the full range
of academic rank. Dan Anker, PhD., Associate Dean of Faculty Affairs,
presented the newly implemented changes in the promotions and tenure
guidelines. Dr. Michele Walsh, of the Department of Pediatrics, discussed the policy on stopping the tenure clock. Many of the
workshop
participants stayed and met in small group format to continue the
