Applications for 2010
The Women Faculty of the School of Medicine (WFSOM) is pleased to announce the availability of the annual Career Development Awards. These awards, which are supported by the WFSOM, are directed at promoting the careers of women in Academic Medicine. Funds are available for up to two awards per year to promote professional development and advancement for women faculty. Applicants must demonstrate excellence in her past academic achievements, and outstanding potential for a promising career in Academic Medicine commensurate with her professional experience.
ELIGIBILITY:
- Mid-Career Faculty Award: For a full-time woman faculty member with a current faculty appointment in the school of medicine at Case, and with five years or more experience
at the assistant professor or associate professor level, but who has not yet obtained tenure or promotion to the full professor level.
- Junior Faculty Award: For a full-time female
faculty member with a current faculty appointment in the school of medicine at Case at the Instructor level or in the first five years of their career since appointment to the
assistant professor level (at any institution).
