Dr. Fagan is an Assistant Professor in the Department of Epidemiology and Biostatistics where she teaches in the Masters in Public Health program. A native Clevelander, growing up in Shaker
Heights, she graduated from Northwestern University with a B.A. in Sociology and earned her M.D. from Case Western Reserve University. She returned to Chicago to do her residency in Internal Medicine/
Occupational Medicine at Cook County Hospital. During that time, she also received her M.P.H. from the University of Illinois School of Public Health.
She is Board-Certified in Occupational Medicine
and has been Medical Director of the Occupational Health Program at Community Health Partners in Lorain, Ohio for the past five years. She is also active in community organizations
and serves as the president of the boards of trustees for both Environmental Health Watch and Ohio Citizen Action.
