David Satcher Society
Dr. Smith is Dean of the David Satcher Society. He earned his M.D. from Northwestern University in 1963 and was on the faculty of the University of Washington. He is the Senior Associate Dean for Students and the Dorothy Jones Weatherhead Professor of Family Medicine. He is the former Chairman of the Department of Family Medicine at Case Western Reserve University School of Medicine and University Hospitals of Cleveland.
