Millennium Curriculum Project Update - June 4, 1998
1. As Chair of the Year One Content Committee of the Millennium Curriculum Project, the Core Academic Program Coordinator has met with all of the year one section leaders. He plans to continue meetings during the summer. Implementation of a standard syllabus with learning objectives for the students for each lecture is to begin immediately. The syllabus is to serve as a supplement to classroom teaching, not as a substitute for it. 2. The Flexible Program Coordinator has located an enthusiastic group of northeastern Ohio alumni interested in participating in the Millennium Curriculum. The majority indicated a preference for having a student at their practice on a regular basis one-half day per week. Many are willing to leave their site to attend CPCs (Clinical-Pathologic Conferences) every few months.
