The Mt. Sinai Skills and Simulation Center (MSSSC) is a uniting force for the advancement of healthcare education in Northeast Ohio. The MSSSC enhances patient safety through leadership, research, and innovative interactive learner-centered experiences.
The Mt. Sinai Skills and Simulation Center (MSSSC) at Case Western Reserve University, School of Medicine is an education and training facility focused on creative, innovative continuous learning for healthcare providers and professionals at all levels.
Since opening in 2006, the MSSSC has partnered with medical, nursing and dental schools, area medical centers, professional organizations, leadership and first responder teams to become a major resource for simulation education in Northeast Ohio. Our center continues to build a strong multidisciplinary and interprofessional approach to learning by providing interactive simulation activities, assessment, training and research for a diverse population of learners. Our center is certified by the American College of Surgeons as a Comprehensive Level 1 Accredited Education Institute.
The MSSSC enables CWRU and affiliates to incorporate simulation learning into its health professional curricula and programs with the goal of improving provider performance, enhancing patient safety and the reduction of errors in clinical practice.
The Mt. Sinai Skills and Simulation Center is a multimodality interdisciplinary education center for learners at all levels. We provide immersive programs utilizing all aspects and modes of simulation to create realistic educational opportunities in a safe learning environment. Read more.
