Online Exam Problems

  1. NOTE: Enter module text directly into the online system rather than copying from Microsoft Word. When text is copied directly from the word program and pasted directly into the online system, this will place a lot of html tags not recognized by the html editor. Unless you understand html editing this method is not advised. For your own backup, you can copy from the onlne system into the word program.

Images & Table Images need to be in the .jpg format, inserted separately from the text. Hyperlink your images to the web site from where you obtained them.

Images copied from web sites into Microsoft Word will not transfer when copied into the online module system. Download the actual photo image from the web site. To download images from websites - Right click on the image and download to your desktop. If not in the jpg photo format, convert it using an image software.

  2. Do not use "PowerPoint" and "End Point" software. PowerPoint text and images will not copy into the online system. Footnote references created in End Point software and copied into the online system will not work, especially if copied back into a word document for web site use.

  3. If you notice any problems with the online module system, please
contact Wei Wang, Analyst / Programmer at wxw20@case.edu
