All required reading materials are accessible online. Required
readings are designated by

and are linked to online source documents. Students may also
review materials listed in the references section for the course; these
materials can be made available upon request or through the Health
Sciences Library.

Review questions are
placed within the chapters for your benefit. Please attempt these
questions before moving on to the next section.

COURSE SURVEYS
To evaluate this course,
we need your comments and suggestions. The Pre
and Post-Course Surveys are linked to the online exam. In order to access the online exam your answers to the Pre-Course Survey need to be completed. Also, the Post-Course Survey answers need to be completed before you can submit your final exam answers. Your answers to the survey will not affect
your grade for the course.

In order to
receive credit for the course the following requirements must be met:

All
students must complete the Pre-Course Survey BEFORE beginning the
course and online exam. On the Module/Exam Introduction Page press the lower right button "START EXAM" to begin your answers to the Pre-Course Survey.
- The exam system will work on both MAC and PC computers. IMPORTANT INFORMATION: Use Internet Explorer on a Windows operating system while taking the eExam.
All students must complete the eEXAM upon completion of the course. The online eEXAM can be taken at any point during the elective after the online material has been read. No need to wait until the written module has been finished). You may access the exam as many times as you want since there is no time limit. REMINDER: Save your answers often.
The exam system will not allow your final answers to be submitted until the Post-Course Survey is completed.
Choose the "SUBMIT" button ONLY when you are ready for evaluation.
- Additional Requirements for the ONE MONTH OPTION:
Students
taking this option are required to contribute to the development of the curriculum through the creation of an educational module in an area of interest. Students contributing to the
course curriculum will be considered for honors credit.
Topic suggestions are on the Course Module page or you can also search the internet for ideas. If you need help choosing a topic or need to consult with someone, contact one of the course faculty members or Patti Quallich.

Your modules will be evaluation by the director of this elective.
Students
who receive "honors" and choose to contribute to the curriculum must sign a
consent and waiver in order for their
materials to be added to the online course.
Please print and sign this consent and waiver form, attach a copy of your module references and take it to Patti Quallich in Room E414 or FAX: 216-368-5125. If you have access to a scanner, this form can be scanned, saved in pdf format and emailed to pvq@case.edu
