Haitham Haddad, MD, FAAP, is Interim Division Chief and Medical Director of the Division of Pediatric Emergency Medicine and Attending Physician, Pediatric Sedation Unit at University Hospitals Rainbow Babies & Children’s Hospital. He is Assistant Professor, Pediatrics, Case Western Reserve University School of Medicine.

Dr. Haddad is board certified in pediatrics and certified in pediatric advanced trauma life support and pediatric advanced life support. His special interest is in pediatric emergency care and viral bronchial infections.

Dr. Haddad is a graduate of Damascus University Medical School, Damascus, Syria. He completed his residency in pediatrics at MetroHealth Medical Center, Cleveland, Ohio, and a fellowship in neonatology and pediatric intensive care at MetroHealth Medical Center and UH Rainbow Babies & Children’s Hospital.

Dr. Haddad joined the UH Rainbow Babies & Children’s Hospital staff in 2000 from Mt. Sinai East Medical Center, Cleveland, Ohio, where he was Director of Pediatric Medicine.
He is a Fellow of the American Academy of Pediatrics and a member of the American College of Ethical Physicians.
