Bio

Biography:

Jason Clayton, MD PhD, is a pediatric critical care physician in the Division of Pediatric Critical Care and Pharmacology at University Hospitals Rainbow Babies & Children's Hospital. He is an Assistant Professor of Pediatrics at Case Western Reserve University School of Medicine.

Dr. Clayton earned his BS in both chemistry and biochemistry at Temple University in Philadelphia, PA. He earned an MD and PhD from the University of North Carolina - Chapel Hill. He completed his residency in pediatrics at The Floating Hospital for Children at Tufts Medical Center. He remained at Tufts for an additional year as Chief Resident where he helped design a comprehensive simulation curriculum for the pediatric residents. He competed fellowship training in pediatric critical care medicine at University Hospitals Rainbow Babies & Children's Hospital and continued on as faculty in 2017.

He is a board certified pediatrician, a Fellow of the American Academy of Pediatrics and a member of the Society for Critical Care Medicine.
