Dr. Christopher Snyder is the Director of Pediatric Cardiology at Rainbow Babies and Children’s Hospital, Case Western Reserve University School of Medicine. His interests include general pediatric cardiology and Adult with Congenital Heart disease as well as a sub-speciality in pediatric and adult congenital electrophysiology on an inpatient and outpatient basis. Dr. Snyder is known for his extensive knoledge and experience in electrophysiology. He has built two other institutions electrophysiology services prior to coming to Rainbow, Case Western Reserve University School of Medicine as the chief of Cardiology.

Dr. Snyder has published numerous articles about pediatric and adult congenital electrophysiology. In addition to his clinical experience with pacemaker implants, radiofrequency and cryo-ablations and syncope, Dr. Snyder has written numerous abstracts, posters, presentations and papers concerning the cost-effectivness of these procedures.

Dr. Snyder is a graduate of Wayne State University School of Medicine and Baylor College of Medicine, Texas Children’s Hospital residency and fellowship programs. He also spent an extra year at Texas Children’s Hospital doing an electrophysiology fellowship. He has previously served as faculty at Yale-New Haven School of Medicine and Ochsner Clinic Foundation.

Dr. Snyder is currently on the American Academy of Pediatircs Section of Pediatric Cardiology Board of Directors. He also serves as a senior editor for Congenital Heart Disease and Case Reports in Cardiology, in addition to performing reviews for the PACE, Journal of Invasive Electrophysiology, Pediatrics and the Ochsner Journal.
