Leigh Ann Kerns, MD

Dr. Kerns received her undergraduate degree in biological sciences from the University of Notre Dame. She received her medical degree from the Case Western Reserve University School of Medicine in 2003. She completed a pediatric residency at Children’s Memorial Hospital/Northwestern University, and she completed an allergy and immunology fellowship at Children’s Memorial Hospital/Northwestern University. Dr. Kerns joined the Division of Pediatric Pulmonology, Allergy, Immunology, and Sleep Medicine in 2008, and she is an Assistant Professior in the Department of Pediatrics at Rainbow Babies and Children’s Hospital. She serves as the director of the Jeffrey Modell Diagnostic and Research Center for Primary Immunodeficiency at UH Rainbow Babies and Children’s Hospital. She is the current president of the Cleveland Allergy Society.
