New Review Request paper submissions will no longer be accepted By December 1, 2010
Training opportunities are now available for use of the Case Western Reserve University Cancer Institutional Review Board (Case Cancer IRB) electronic, web-based submission and review database provided by iMedRIS™ Data Corporation.
New cancer research protocols requiring IRB review will be submitted, reviewed and stored electronically in iRIS™, which will allow for an automated IRB submission, review and approval processes.
The following training guides are offered for download below:
- Part 1 is a basic introduction to accessing iRIS™ via the web and setting up user accounts and how to manage "My Assistant." Training classes for this part will be limited, and later available only upon request.
- Part 2 will provide an overview for use of "Study Assistant" and how to add a new study for submission to the Case Cancer IRB for review.
- Part 3 will provide guidance on how to sign-off on submissions from the Study Contact, Principal Investigaor and Department Chairs.
- Part 4 details how to respond to submission correction in the form of stipulations as well as creating a revised version of the submission and how to respond to stipulations.
- Part 5 details how to submit an amendment to the Cancer IRB.
