Overview
The Cell Production Facility provides 6 Class 10000 clean rooms to perform Phase I and II clinical trials. Services Provides a controlled environment in which to process cells for clinical use Oversees methods and procedures for cell and gene therapy protocols Cell expansion including peripheral blood mobilized CD34+ cells, mesenchymal stem cells, hematopoeitic stem cells and umbilical cord blood cells for use in clinical trials
Resources - Six fully-equipped independent culture rooms connected to a common anteroom
- Each room contains a Class II biological safety cabinet, centrifuge, microscope and refrigerator
- The anteroom has a -80 freezer and a decontaimination room that houses a pass-through autoclave
- Balanced air handling system provides air barriers between the individual culture rooms and the outside space
- Quarantine Room for incoming materials and a facility office space
