THE SUMMER MEDICAL DENTAL EDUCATIONAL PROGRAM
Students interested in attending the SMDEP 2009 program should
apply online by going to the website at: www.smdep.org
or call the toll free number at (877)-310-6637.
SMDEP will accept applications from November
1, 2008 through March 1, 2009.
To qualify for the SMDEP, applicants should have:
U.S. citizenship or a permanent resident visa
One or more years of college (qualified post baccalaureate applicants are also eligible)
Overall grade point average of at least 3.00 (4.0 scale), with a 2.75 in the sciences
Combined SAT or ACT scores of at least 950 or 20, respectively
Demonstrate a serious interest in a medical career
SMDEP will accept applications from November 1, 2008 through
March 1, 2009 (will accept late applications)
