Grand Rounds with Dr. David Katz
David L. Katz, MD, MPH, FACPM, FACP, is an internationally renowned authority on nutrition, weight management, and the prevention of chronic disease, and an internationally recognized leader in integrative medicine and patient-centered care.
Katz is the Director and founder (1998) of Yale University’s Prevention Research. He is the principal inventor of the Overall Nutritional Quality Index used in the NuVal nutrition guidance program used in supermarkets nationwide. Along with his wife, Catherine, Katz developed the Nutrition Detectives and ABC for Fitness health promotion programs for schools.
