The Lipid Research Clinic studies were begun in
Jerusalem in the 1970's with funding from the NIH,
National institute of heart, lung and blood
diseases. With Hebrew University epidemiologist
Jeremy Kark we are planning to follow up a
population of over 3000 participants now over 80
years of age to determine cognitive outcomes, and
analyze interactions between these outcomes and
previously determined measures of diet, activity and
biochemistry,
