October 19th and 20th, 2007
The MSSSC hosted tours during Case’s Alumni weekend on October 19th and 20th, 2007. The alumni were introduced to Noelle, a Maternal and Neonatal Birthing Simulator, the latest tool to improve health care for pregnant women. Noelle is a computerized manikin that mimics, in detail, a wide range of emergency situations in pregnancy and childbirth.
Local medical personnel and interested staff brought donations for Cleveland’s Providence House, a nursery which provides a temporary, safe, home-like setting and refuge for children under age 6 who are in crisis.
