Jessica Diggs, who recently earned her Ph.D. in health policy from Case, has received the 2006 Wilburn H. Weddington, M.D. Minority Student Award sponsored by the Ohio Academy of Family Physicians Foundation. Awards encourage and support medical students enrolled in Ohio medical schools who are members of an underrepresented-in-medicine minority population. Diggs anticipates receiving her medical degree from Case School of Medicine in 2008.
