GRANTS FOR GRADUATE STUDY
Although we provide stipends and pay fees for graduate students in PhD programs, we strongly encourage students
with highly competitive academic credentials and research experience to apply for individual fellowships. The preparation
of an application is a good learning experience, and the potential funding of the proposal provides a prominent
achievement. Periodic programs organized by the Office of Graduate Education on grant preparation are presented to
trainees. Students should consult their mentor and/or Graduate Program Director prior to submitting an application.
