Osteoperosis and Depression

There are many contributing factors involved in causing osteoporosis.

The New England Journal of Medicine has now identified another..........Depression.

A thorough study of the bone density of 24 women with major depression was found to be lower than in 24 normal women.

Osteoporosis can lead to fractures of the spine or hip.

So, women with depression should be watched carefully to prevent such fractures.
