With "Walk for the Cure" happening this weekend, comes good news for Diabetic Patients.
A local company has developed a needle-free system for Diabetics who inject insulin. It's called the Advanta-Jet, and it works by dispersing a Micro-Jet of insulin through the skin.
Its makers say the Advanta-Jet accepts all types of insulin, is easy to clean, and gets absorbed into the tissue faster than needle and syringe injection.
