Ulcers - Infections

In the last few years we have learned that ulcers of the stomach and duodenum are usually caused by an infection.

Antibiotic treatment is used to cure the infection and now The Journal of the American Medical Association reports some results of this treatment.

The doctors found that two-thirds of the patients were cured of the infection and of the symptoms.

Further, they found that if the blood test one year after treatment was negative for antibodies to the bacteria involved, then the infection was cured.

Don't suffer if you have Peptic Ulcer symptoms, there is excellent treatment available.
