Prenatal Care

Prenatal care is very important to mother and baby.

The Journal of the American Medical Association reports a new study which shows more women today are receiving such care.

The study analyzed 54 million birth records from 1981 to 1995.

The finding revealed that low-risk women, women having a multiple birth and even teenagers were increasing their visits to a doctor and getting more care.

There are still problems to be solved such as low birth weight and prematurity, but at least the mothers and their babies are getting more attention.
