Antibiotics and Mold

Don't throw away that moldy bread or fermented milk! The JAMA reports they may be useful in treating anti-biotic associated diarrhea or even vaginal infections.

With the development of new strains of bacteria resistant to anti-biotics these moldy substances may be useful in treating infections.

One study of 180 patients treated with a form of yeast along with their routine antibiotics showed remarkable results.

And eating yogurt may be helpful in treating chronic vaginal infections.
