Vitamin E and the Immune System of the Elderly

Recently a scientific study showed vitamin E supplements helped patients with Alzheimer's disease.

Now the Journal of the American Medical Association reports a study which shows vitamin E improves the immune system of elderly patients.

Healthy people at least 65 years of age were given vitamin E for almost 8 months.

Those taking 200 MG/Day had a significant improvement in their immune response as measured by lab tests.

We must be cautious in accepting the many reports about vitamins, but these recent two studies seem very credible.
