Alzheimer's Disease and Vitamin E

In medicine we are sometimes grateful for even small steps forward. This is the case in Alzheimer's Disease.

The New England Journal of Medicine reports a new study of these patients treated with vitamin E and/or a medicine called selegiline, also known as eldepryl.

Each of these was shown to slow the progression of disease in moderately severe alzheimer's patients......although by only a few months. But for the patients and their families, every bit helps.
