Gulf War Syndrome (Part 2)

Gulf War illnesses can be broken down into three categories.

The Journal of the American Medical Association reports that those illnesses fall into the general categories of mental confusion, loss of balance along with mental confusion, or joint and muscle problems along with fatigue and numbness of the extremities.

The authors believe these conditions were likely caused by some external exposure in the Gulf Area or by medication given to the veterans.

Lots more study is underway to find the cause of these illnesses.
