Women, Coffee & Heart Disease

Well here is a special valentine gift this week for all the women in our lives.

The Journal of the American Medical Association now has laid the issue of coffee and heart disease to rest, hopefully permanently, at least for women.

A study of more than 85 thousand registered nurses, over a ten year period completely eliminated any suggestion of a positive association between the drinking of coffee and coronary heart disease.

This was true whether the woman drank caffeinated or decaffeinated coffee or whether she drank one cup or many cups a day.

I hope it's true for us men, too.
