An important part of our departmental mission is providing excellent care and cutting-edge treatment to adult and pediatric patients with urological conditions through University Hospitals Urology Institute.
Using an integrated, multi-disciplinary approach to patient care, the UH Urology Institute includes the following six centers of excellence:
- Pelvic Pain Center
Utilizes a collaborative, patient-centered approach to diagnose and treat individuals with a wide range of conditions that can be debilitating and difficult to treat including interstitial cystitis, chronic pelvic pain, and chronic bladder pain
- Female Pelvic Medicine and Surgery Center
Offers diagnosis and treatment for women suffering from pelvic floor disorders, including the loss of bladder and bowel control and female pelvic organ prolapse, fistulas, cysts, and vaginal reconstruction
- Men's Health and Stones Disease Center
Specializes in the diagnosis and treatment of non-cancerous urinary conditions in men, including BPH, and sexual dysfunction, and urinary stone disease in both men and women
- Pediatric Urology Center
Provides state-of-the-art care for infants, children and adolescents with urological conditions through UH Rainbow Babies & Children's Hospital, one of the nation's leading children's hospitals
- Robotic and Minimally Invasive Surgery Center
One of the most comprehensive and minimally invasive, robotic-assisted surgery programs in the treatment of urological conditions
- Urologic Oncology Center
Provides the most current disease management options for prostate, kidney and bladder cancer by integrating the latest medical technologies, minimally invasive therapies and research available at UH Seidman Cancer Center
