PGY-3 EDUCATION
Our of the highlights of the PGY3 year is the 8-week
rotation in the Epilepsy Center.
Dr. Hans Lüders, a world renowned
epilepsy specialist, has recently joined the department
as the head of the UH Epilepsy Center.
Dr. Lüders and colleagues put on a robust 8-week course
for PGY-3 residents twice a year. This intensive
experience covers clinical epilepsy and neurophysiology.
Residents attend a series of conferences and seminars as
well as actively participate in the care of seizure
patients in the hospital, clinic and epilepsy monitoring
unit. |
