Our mission is to "ensure that every student who should become a Family Physician, does become a Family Physician."

We strive to meet our mission by:

• Identifing and nurturing interest in Family Medicine throughout the four years of medical school.

The Family Medicine Interest Group is a student-run organization that fosters the development of students interested in Family Medicine.

• We are actively involved in teaching students in all four years and are working with our colleagues to create enhanced learning in the new curriculum.

• Working to Increase the number of students in the School of Medicine selecting careers in Family Medicine.
