Fellowship Opportunities

The UHCMC Family Medicine department graduates have ample opportunity to succeed in various fellowships, both within our department and in other sites affilitated with us.

Obstetrics - Our OB fellowship is an opportunity for residents to get more experience in the field of Obstetrics, working closely alongside the UH OBGYN residents and attendings. Residents will be able to be the primary surgeon on cesaerian sections and have more experience with higher risk pregnancies.

Women's Health - Our Women's Health Fellowship lets residents get more experience in many exciting and challenging issues pertaining to Women's Health.

Academics - A UH Family Medicine fellowship designed for individuals who are interested in pursuing a career in academic medicine.

Urgent Care - This fellowship helps to develop key skills needed in effectively and efficiently managing many of the acute and sub-acute issues found in the rapidly growing field of urgent care.

Geriatrics - The Geriatric fellowship gives residents a broad-based experience working with today's expanding geriatric population, as well as palliative and hospice care.
