Susan T. Nedorost, M.D earned her medical degree at Case Western Reserve University School of Medicine and completed her Dermatology Residency at the Cleveland Clinic Foundation. She is interested in multi-disciplinary approaches to dermatitis including allergy/immunology, psychology, and dietetics in formulation of care plans, with expert nurse-led patient education to improve the patient experience.
Dr. Nedorost is Director of the Dermatitis (atopic , allergic, and occupational) Program in the Department of Dermatology at University Hospitals Cleveland Medical Center. Dr. Nedorost is an international expert in the diagnosis, education, and treatment of occupational dermatitis, environmental dermatitis, hand dermatitis and persistent or unresponsive dermatitis utilizing patch testing as a diagnostic tool. She consults for manufacturers and employers concerned with allergic contact dermatitis, and she has had multi-year research funding from the National Institute of Occupational Safety and Health (NIOSH) to study the genetic predisposition to dermatitis.
