Artthapol Tanphaichitr (Paul Tan), M.D., F.A.A.D, joined Case Western Reserve University and University Hospitals Cleveland Medical Center in 2013 from his prior position at Associates in Dermatology in Westlake, Ohio. Dr. Tan began his training at Northeast Ohio Medical University (formerly Northeastern Ohio Universities College of Medicine) prior to acceptance into the Dermatology Residency at The Ohio State University Medical Center.
Dr. Tan is the Program Director of the UH Dermatology Residencies where he brings 8 years of teaching experience precepting residents and students at our VA Dermatology Service. He had also taught at Fairview Hospital and UH St. John Medical Center and participates in the Ohio Dermatology Association mentorship programs.
In addition to his teaching responsibilities, Dr. Tan provides care across the full spectrum of general dermatology. General dermatology involves the diagnosis and treatment of diseases of the skin, scalp, hair, and nails; including, acne, rashes, allergies, and skin cancer as well as treatment and removal of tumors, warts, moles, cysts, skin tags, and other skin growths.
Both in practice and in teaching, Dr. Tan has built an outstanding reputation for his knowledge, compassion and effectiveness in dermatology.
