Research Interests:

Surgical reconstruction, melanoma epidemiology, prevention, and treatment, cutanous oncology in transplant patients, high risk basal cell and squamous cell carcinoma, rare cutaneous malignancies, evidence based dermatology and medical education

Ongoing Projects:

Currently looking to see if skin exams by primary care physicians or dermatologists lead to skin cancer being diagnosed at an earlier stage.

Currently looking to see if patients who have developed other cancers (lung, breast, colon....) have a higher risk of developing melanoma.

Recently gave national presentations discussing: Basic techniques of skin surgery. How to performa advanced surgical reconstruction.
