Curtis Wayne Hawkins M.D. joined Case Western Reserve University School of Medicine in 1985 as an Assistant Clinical Professor. Prior to his CWRU faculty position Dr. Hawkins was on the staff of University Dermatologists, Incorporated in South Euclid, Ohio. He joined the Department of Dermatology at University Hospitals Medical Practices in 2015 after thirty years of private practice in Akron, Ohio. Dr. Hawkins attended Ohio State University and CWRU School of Medicine before acceptance in the Department of Dermatology Residency at Case Western Reserve University and University Hospitals of Cleveland.
Dr. Hawkins currently sees patients in the Akron, Ohio area. He provides care for patients of all ages and backgrounds and across the full spectrum of general dermatology, including the diagnosis and treatment of skin cancers, both melanoma and non-melanoma skin cancers, as well as various inflammatory skin diseases and other skin conditions, such as eczema, psoriasis, seborrheic dermatitis or dandruff, acne, melanocytic nevi or moles, actinic keratoses or “pre-cancers,” warts, skin tags, and cysts. He also provides cosmetic procedures and products.
