Congratulations to Leah Zagore
Leah Zagore, a PhD candidate in the Center for RNA Science and Therapeutics, won the Grand Prize in this year's Art of Science contest.
Her image describes "an image of a seminiferous tubule cross-section from the testis of a 35 day old mouse. The red staining in the center shows high levels of GFP expression in later cell stages of spermatogenesis. The green shows MVH which is highly expressed during earlier stages of male germ cell development. Blue is DAPI showing DNA content."
Congratulations to Zagore, as well as first runner up, Zachary Nevin, and second runner up, Meagan Kitt.
