Pat Croskerry is the Professor of Emergency Medicine at Dalhousie University and a leading expert in critical thinking and decision making. For more than a decade,
Dr. Croskerry has worked in the area of patient safety and diagnostic errors. During his talk, Dr. Croskerry will be discussing the dual process model of decision making which is the core of Daniel Kahneman’s best seller, “Thinking Fast and Slow.” Insights from the retreat will be broadly applicable across our health profession schools. We look forward to this opportunity to bring together an interprofessional audience to engage in a dialogue about critical thinking.
