RAMP Goals

·         Prepare students for preceptorship choice

·         Provide an emotionally and intellectually safe exposure to patients throughout the lifecycle and in several specialized settings

·         Provide guided observation in a variety of clinical settings

·         Introduce the language of health care delivery

·         Familiarize students to doctor-patient and health care team relationships

·         Enhance observation and reflection skills

RAMP Learning Objectives

• Refine observation and reflection skills

• Describe a clinical experience including setting, list medical professionals and their participation in the patient interaction

• Identify student’s own response or reaction to the clinical experience

Each student will spend 1 afternoon in each of the 7 rotations for a total of 7 separate experiences.
