CWRU Department of Pediatrics Funding
Available Funds
- Requests for such funds may not exceed $60,000 and, if necessary, may include salary support for the applicant of up to 20%. Other funds available include up to $10,000 of support to utilize CTSC cores for a total award not to exceed $70,000. Funds for research support to the sponsor's lab (Path A), such as technician and/or supplies, are permitted and expected.
To promote successful pursuit of extramural funding by faculty with primary appointments in the Department of Pediatrics, funds for research are being allocated to support pilot projects with emphasis on investigators without current research support. Proposals for these funds will be evaluated for their potential to lead to extramural funding and awards will be based on the merits of the applications, as assessed by the Research Committee, and by the availability of funds.
Eligibility
Pediatrics program pilot limited to faculty with primary appointments in the Department of Pediatrics at Case Western Reserve University.
