Q. Who does this new requirement affect?

Current and future investigators who utilize CTSC CRU facilities and services for research will be affected by this new requirement.

  1. EXISTING studies currently using CRUS:
    1. that will be completed prior to June 1, 2017, will continue to be supported.
    2. that will not complete prior to June 1, 2017 should meet with CRU administration to prepare CRU budgets for any services you will need after June 1, 2017.
  2. NEW, revised, and/or competing grant applications and resubmissions of originally unsuccessful proposals that plan studies or funded renewals will be expected to include costs for CRU services in their respective applications and should meet with CRUS administration before the grants are submitted to be sure that the research plan is appropriately resourced in the budget.
