community
The ultimate goal of the Clinical & Translational Science Collaborative is to provide complete service and integrated clinical translational research capability within the Cleveland community to improve the health of patients in Northeast Ohio.
In addition to research, the CTSC partner institutions also play a pivotal role in improving the quality of life throughout the Greater Cleveland and Northeast Ohio region by providing medical care, volunteer services and a variety of community programs.
Community Outreach
The Cleveland Clinic, University Hospitals and MetroHealth Medical Center cover 90 percent of the medical care delivered in the seven-county area of Northeast Ohio.
Each year, Case Western Reserve faculty, staff and students provide more than 160,000 hours of community service with hundreds of organizations in the local community.
The university also supports nearly 600 community partnership programs, including more than 70 signature K-12 programs that conservatively impact 145,000 Cleveland Municipal School District students in the areas of academics, health, social services, community and economic development.
