Key Leadership Hired at Case Western Reserve University School of Medicine's New Clinical and Translational Science Collaborative

CLEVELAND - June 25, 2008 - Case Western Reserve University's new Clinical and Translatonal Science Collaborative (CTSC) has hired the senior staff required to make the Collaborative fully operational. The initiative, launched with a $64 million grant from the National Institutes of Health's Clinical and Translational Science Awards, seeks to integrate clinical translational research capability between the University and its hospital partners to improve the health of patients in Northeast Ohio. It is one of thirty-eight similar programs funded by the NIH nationwide to ensure that new and promising treatments reach patients.
