Thomas Love is Director of the Biostatistics and Evaluation Unit of the Center for Health Care Research and Policy (www.chrp.org) of Case Western Reserve University School of Medicine at MetroHealth Medical Center, is Chair-Elect of the Section on Health Policy Statistics of the American Statistical Association and serves as Associate Editor for The American Statistician.

Dr. Love has a national reputation as an expert on biostatistics and health policy research, with a particular emphasis on propensity score methodology for observational studies. He has extensive experience working with a wide array of methodological and measurement issues involved in studying health care.

His current collaborative work includes multiple studies addressing chronic conditions (including heart failure, diabetes and cancer) as biostatistician and co-investigator. He serves on the Leadership Team and as co-chair for Information Management for the Better Health Greater Cleveland collaborative (www.betterhealthcleveland.org), and as co-director of the Biostatistics, Epidemiology and Research Design Core of Cleveland's Clinical Translational Science Collaborative.
