Seattle-area graduates named to ‘A+ List’

Martin Siegel ’72 was featured on the cover and in a full-page photograph inside the September 2004 issue of Seattle magazine in conjunction with the publication of “The A+ List: Seattle’s Top 306 Doctors.”

Dr. Siegel, an infectious diseases specialist at the Polyclinic, medical director of epidemiology and board of trustees member at Swedish Hospital Medical Center, and a clinical associate professor of medicine at the University of Washington, was identified as “the compassionate doctor.”

Also named among the Puget Sound’s best physicians were David Springer ’69 and Mitchell Weinberg ’81; both were listed in the pediatrics category. Dr. Springer practices with Wallingford Pediatrics and is affiliated with Children’s Hospital & Regional Medical Center and Swedish Medical Center. Dr. Weinberg practices with Woodinville Pediatrics and is affiliated with Evergreen Hospital Medical Center, Overlake Hospital Medical Center and Children’s Hospital & Regional Medical Center.

The list was based on responses to a survey of 5,000 randomly selected physicians, registered nurses and complementary health care providers from a three-county area and covered 51 specialty areas and four areas of alternative and complementary medicine.
