Office of Development and Alumni Relations welcomes new leader, directors

The Case Western Reserve University School of Medicine’s Office of Development and Alumni Relations has welcomed a new associate dean and three new directors who are working with others in the office to increase philanthropic resources for the school. Susan Holt joined the medical school as associate dean for development and alumni relations in September 2004 after having spent 16 years at Vanderbilt University in Nashville, Tenn. There, she most recently was senior director of development, principal gifts, for the medical center. Sheldon Green has joined the office as senior director of development and alumni relations. In this position, he is overseeing alumni relations and stewardship activities in the office and is working with Holt to address high-level fundraising priorities. Green comes to the medical school from the university’s Weatherhead School of Management, where he was director of principal gifts. Patricia Egan, director of major gifts, is focusing her efforts on the departments of medicine, orthopedics and family medicine and is leading the Northern Ohio Alumni and Friends Outreach and Giving Program. She formerly was executive director of the EMH Foundation in Elyria, Ohio. Annette Ballou, director of corporate and foundation relations, is concentrating her efforts on major institutional initiatives and the needs of the school’s basic science departments. She formerly was director of strategic initiatives in the university’s Office of Research and Technology Management. |
