Richard M. Krause
Richard M. Krause ’52 received the Order of the Rising Sun, Gold and Silver Star, from the government of Japan in November, recognizing exceptional civil merit and service to the country. Dr. Krause is senior scientific adviser at the National Institute of Health’s Fogarty International Center, Division of Advanced Studies and Policy Analysis, and is a former director of the NIH’s National Institute of Allergy and Infectious Diseases.
