2010 Epilepsy Symposia

The 3rd International Epilepsy Colloquium in Cleveland is dedicted to surgery of extratemporal lobe epilepsy.  New imaging tecniques, a revival of stereo-electroencephalography, more sophisticated source imaging of EEG and MEG and a revisiting of the clinical value of very high frequency "ripples" and slow DC potentials have led to a more successful surgery of patients with extratemporal lobe epilepsy.  A distinguished international faculty includes everybody who has made significant contributions in this highly specialized field of epileptology.

The Colloquium will be preceded by a comprehensive 3-day Epilepsy Course which will consist primarily of case discussions with active participation of the audience and a panel of experts.  The Course covers all areas of epileptology providing an excellent overview.  The faculty participating in this Course were carefully selected to include highly experienced epileptologists who are superb clinicians and excellent teachers.
