Thomas W. Graber, MD, is Medical Director of Emergency Services at St. Vincent Charity Hospital in Cleveland, Ohio.
He is an alumnus of Case Western Reserve University who has a dedicated commitment to fostering life-long learning and
nurturing learning communities.
His leadership and vision made CAML a reality. He serves as Chair of its Strategic Planning Committee 2006 to present.

Klara Papp, Ph.D.
Director
Serves as Director of the Center for the Advancement of Medical Learning which supports students and faculty in their efforts to pursue excellence in learning, teaching, and educational scholarship.
Provides expertise in educational testing and measurement which includes the construction and interpretation of performance-based measures of student performance, including multiple choice tests, behavior checklist ratings, and patient-based clinical skills exams. Serves as NBME Executive Chief Proctor
Supports externally funded programs by designing, implementing, and administering program evaluation outcomes assessment. Recent grant support includes Case/Cleveland Clinic Multidisciplinary Clinical Research Scholars Training Program, Essentials of Cancer Genetics, Clinical Transaction Development Pathway.

Mark Gelula, Ph.D.
Consultant in
Faculty Development
He is former Assistant Dean for Faculty Development at the College of Medicine, University of Illinois at Chicago and holds a part-time position at the Department of Medical Education as Research Assistant Professor of Medical Education.
He consults regularly with medical schools and graduate medical education training programs in the US and internationally including as a consultant to the Ministry of Health for the Republic of Turkey and currently consults with several medical schools in Turkey.
Dr. Gelula has been a medical education specialist since 1979. His primary research interests and academic activities include how clinical teaching takes place and ways to improve it, measuring the outcomes and effectiveness of faculty development and other
professional development interventions, the accreditation of graduate medical education programs and medical schools. He has also had extensive experience with and continues work in continuing professional development of physicians and other healthprofessionals.
Dr. Gelula has published numerous research papers and articles,
abstracts and posters, has presented his research and conducted numerous faculty development programs at local, regional, national and international meetings and forums.

Manager and Program Evaluation Coordinator
Coordinates the design, development and implementation of the evaluation program and quality improvement for the medical school’s curriculum as well as for the student and faculty evaluation processes. This evaluation includes courses, faculty and student outcomes.
Assists in the administration of instruments, analyze results, prepare reports and work with faculty to develop action plans.
Supports all Center activities for faculty development, student learning and research and scholarship.
